Picher Oklahoma, died at 8:45 am, Thursday, Jan 16, 1997, at Eastwood Manor Nursing Home in Commerce Oklahoma after an illness. He was 89. Mr. Arnold was born Apr 25, 1907, in Douglas county Missouri to Albert Arnold and Elizabeth Uber Arnold. He had lived in the Picher area most of his life. Mr. Arnold worked for the Frisco Railroad and also in the lead and zinc mines. He was a member of the Holiness Church. Survivors include three sisters, Naomi Martha Schoeppel, Vista California, Dorothy Johnston and Jewell Johnston, both of Baxter Springs Kansas. Service will be at 2 pm, Monday, Jan 20, 1997, at the Paul Thomas funeral home, Picher, officiated by Rev. Fred Dycus. Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami, under the direction of the Paul Thomas funeral home of Picher. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
