a retired mine driller who had lived in Baxter Springs Kansas most of his 74 years, Cleve Arnhart died Wednesday night at his home 625 East 10th Street. He was a native of Marionville Missouri. Mr. Arnhart was employed for many years by Lloyd Youse, Tri-State mining field operator. He succumbed to a long illness. Funeral services will be held in Baxter Springs Kansas, at 2:30 pm Saturday in the chapel of the Schurman mortuary. Dr. Livingston Witten, Methodist minister, will officiate. Assisting will be a Nazerene pastor, the Rev. Robert Allen. Burial will be in the Lowell Kansas cemetery. Surviving are four nieces, Mrs. Mildred Havens and Mrs. Juanita Redfern, both of Wichita Kansas; Mrs. Lila Fuller, Springfield Missouri and Mrs. Marie Nicholson, Ash Grove Missouri and several nephews, including the following; Glenn Arhart, Paul Arnhart and Jesse Arnhart, all of Baxter Springs; Lynn Arnhart of California; Troy Arnhart, Boise Idaho, Don Arnhart of Missouri; Jiles Parks, Commerce Oklahoma and Jewel Parks Joplin Missouri.
