71, resident of the Monarch Kansas community, northwest of Picher Oklahoma, since 1915, died at 5 am Saturday at his home. Armstrong was a retired farmer and teamster. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Dora Armstrong, of the home; a son, Luther Armstrong, also of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Ivy Coach, Picher, and Mrs. Jessie Powell, Miami; three brothers, Sam Armstrong, Picher; Jim Armstrong, Newkirk, and Edward Armstrong Kansas City Missouri; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced by the Hunter funeral home, Picher.
