62 years old, an electrical engineer, who worked in many mines of the district and operated several on his own account, died at his home, 1510 Pennsylvania avenue, Joplin Missouri, at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, after an illness of about one year. He was born in Galena Kansas, Oct 20, 1881, and had lived in Baxter Springs Kansas, several years, but had lived in Joplin for the last 12 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Fannie Lee Anglen; two daughters, Misses Dorean and Jeanette Anglen, at home; one son, Sgt George B. Anglen, Jr., in Australia; one brother, Art Anglen, Galena; and five sisters, Mrs. Mary L. Clark and Mrs. Leona Walker, both of Baxter Springs; Mrs. Worth Darnell, Pittsburg, and Mrs. Clyde Webb and Mrs. Herb Harvey, both of Riverton. The Boyce Funeral home of Galena is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
