a resident of Picher Oklahoma, for 25 years, died late Sunday at his home after an illness of several weeks. He was 55 years old. Formerly of Salina Oklahoma, Anderson worked for the American Zinc, Lead and Smelting Company, at the Golden Rod Mine No. 8, before becoming ill. He belonged to the Pentecostal church at Treece Kansas. Surviving are his wife, Cora Anderson, of the home at 328 North Treece Street; two sons, Alven Anderson and Cecil Anderson, both of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Iva Leatherman, Picher, and Mrs. Joyce Sharp, Commerce; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Pierce, Chino California; Mrs. Ollie Mae Bolin, Frisco Texas, and Mrs. Hattie Stanford of Indo California; a brother, W. D. Anderson of Chino, and four grandchildren. The body was received by the Thomas funeral home of Picher.

Funeral services for Isaac Daniel Anderson, Picher miner who died late Sunday, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Blue Front church in Treece Kansas. Officiating will be the Rev. Luke Patrick, assisted by the Rev. Orville Johnson. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under the direction of the Thomas funeral home of Picher. The body will lie in state at the Anderson home, 328 North Treece Street in Picher, until the funeral hour. These men will serve as pallbearers: Bill Delcour, Chester Hart, Henry Gart, Guy Carnes, Jess Damrill and William Hassenberg.
