Fred Ransom Anderson, 73, 307 East Eighth Street died at 1:45 pm Monday at Miami Regional Health Center. Mr. Anderson was born Aug 11, 1910, at Blackburn and moved to Picher Oklahoma, from Gore Texas, about 43 years ago. He was a retired hard rock lead and zinc miner and a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle at Cardin Oklahoma. Surviving are his wife, Leonora Anderson; five daughters, June Leatherman, Barbara Ann Mathers and Brenda Gail Lasiter, all of Picher Oklahoma, Avelene Thomas, Topeka Kansas, and Linda Gaye Williams, Miami; three sons, Elmer Anderson and Eugene Anderson, both of Miami, and Freddie Lee Anderson, Seattle Washington; 24 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be announced by Paul Thomas funeral home.

Services for Fred Ranson Anderson, 73, 307 East Eighth Street, who died at 1:45 pm Monday at Miami Regional Health Center after an illness, will be at 2 pm today at the Lighthouse Tabernacle, Cardin. The Rev. James Burnsworth will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami, under the direction of the Paul Thomas chapel, Picher. Pallbearers will be Elmer Cox, Jerry Buchanan, Jack Patrick, Bob Cole, Greg Martin and Jack Anderson.
