Commerce Oklahoma, Funeral services for John A. Allen, 65 years old, who died at his home on South Maple Street Friday, were to be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the First Baptist church. He had been a resident of Ottawa county Oklahoma for the last 25 years, and had been employed as a hoisterman in a hard rock lead and zinc mine near Commerce. He is survived by his wife, Ella Allen; one son, Bill Allen; and a brother, Jack Allen of Springfield Missouri. The Rev. Virgil Logan of Joplin Missouri, will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Orville Stever, Clarence Denton, Carl Williams, Tom Arnour, L. Howel and John McBride. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery Miami.
