Abrams, C. Harrison
Abstract Data
The funeral of C. Harrison Abrams, 57 years old, well known farmer and lead and zinc mining land owner, who died last Wednesday afternoon at his home, two miles east of Quapaw Oklahoma, will be at 11 o'clock Friday morning at the home. The Rev. Mr. Clark, rector of the Pittsburg Episcopal church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery at Joplin Missouri. Death was due to bronchial pneumonia, which developed after a continued illness of two years. Mr. Abrams was a graduate of St. Mary's college, St. Mary's Kansas. He was well known for several years as a baseball player. Mr. Abrams was a native of Ottawa county Oklahoma. Before he entered St. Mary's college, he attended the public schools of Baxter Springs Kansas. He was a life member of the Galena Kansas Elks lodge, from which the pallbearers will be selected. The Cooper undertaking company is in charge. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Abrams; and two brothers, Earl B. Abrams of Baxter Springs, and S. W. Abrams of Miami.

Funeral services were conducted at the family home near Quapaw Friday morning. Special music was furnished by a quartet composed of Mrs. E. T. Anderson, Mrs. A. M. Payne, Herman Mozer and Clarence Shackleford. Burial was in Fairview cemetery at Joplin Missouri.
