Funeral services for Robert "Bobbie" Able, 49-year-old lead and zinc miner and lifelong resident of Ottawa county Oklahoma, will be conducted at the Baptist church in the Ottawa community at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ray Rickner will officiate. Close friends will act as pallbearers and graveside military rites will be conducted by the Miami American Legion post in the Seneca cemetery. Able was a World War II veteran. Able, was found dead in bed at the home of a sister, Mrs. Mattie Gleaves, eight and one-half miles east of Miami, at 7:30 a.m. Sunday. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. Survivors include another sister, Mrs. Vernie Watterson, of near Miami; six brothers, Glenn Able, Corpus Christi Texas, Jake Able, Monett Missouri; Verl Able and Millard Able, both of Miami, John Able, Baxter Springs Kansas, and Tom Able of Stroud Oklahoma; and an aunt, Mrs. C. C. Kipps of Miami. The body was received by the Cooper funeral home.
