Abbott, Fred

Every mine operator and workman remembers Fred Abbott, who up to the time of this death in April of 1935 was ground boss for the Semple Mining Company at the Early Bird Mine. His daughter, Geneva Abbott will be graduated from the Baxter Springs Kansas high school with honors on Friday of this week. Geneva possesses a heap of those splendid traits of character so dominant with her father. Note: Did not find an obit on Fred Abbott in 1935.
