Funeral services for Harry Niday, a powder man at the No. 1, hard rock lead and zinc mine of the Eagle-Picher Mining Company, who was instantly killed Sunday, Jul 10, 1927, as the result of a premature explosion, will be held at the family home, 214 South Tom St. Webb City, Missouri Wednesday afternoon , Jul 13, 1927, with burial at Purcell, Missouri under direction of the Todd Undertaking Company, Picher Oklahoma. Mr. Niday is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Niday; five daughters, Mrs. Violet Putman, Mrs. Cleo Taylor and Miss Jewel Niday, all of Tulsa and Misses Velma and Mabel Niday of Webb City; two stepdaughters, Misses Juanita and Gertrude Terrell, of Web City; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Niday of Webb City, and one brother, Harley Niday, of Zincville Oklahoma.
