Martin, William C.

age 47, died. Word was received that Bill Martin, born Aug 14, 1880 had died Aug 21, 1927. He was a well known hard rock lead and zinc miner in Galena Kansas. Death came after a long illness. Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon. With burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Galena, Cherokee County, Kansas. Martin was an uncle of Walter Forbes of North Century Oklahoma and a brother of H. C. Martin, Miami contractor.
