William C. MacCready, age 49, of Joplin, Missouri was injured fatally shortly before 8 am this morning whn he fell between the the crusher rolls of the jig mill at the Velie Lion mine, where he was employed. He died two hours lat at the American Hospital, Picher, Oklahoma. He was injured internally. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Elena MacCready, and two sons, Herbert R. MacCready of Tulsa Oklahoma and Will C. MacCready, Jr. Of the home address, 2651 East 8th St., Joplin. Several brothers also survive. Funeral arrangements have MacCready, William C. - age 49, born 1877, died yesterday, Jul 17, 1927, at a Picher Oklahoma hospital, following injuries received several hours earlier at the Velie Lion hard rock lead and zinc mine when he fell between rolls of a crusher equipment of the jig mill. The funeral will be held at the family home, 2651 East 8th St. Joplin, Missouri, tomorrow, Jul 20, 1927. With burial in the Forest Park Cemetery, by the Todd undertaking company of Picher. not been completed.
