died. Age 6 years. Jack Irick, son of Mr and Mrs. Roscoe Irick of Douthat, Oklahoma was accidentally shot and almost instantly killed yesterday, Dec 5, 1927, while at play with Billy McNatt, 8 yeas old at the home of the latter's parents, Mr and Mrs. J. McNatt. A bullet from a revolver, with which they were playing, said to have been discharged by Billy, struck Jack in the nose and penetrated his head. The child lived only 10 minutes. Jack had gone to the McNatt home about 9:30 yesterday morning to play with Billy. The older boy had obtained a revolver from his house and had brought it into the yard for the two to play with. They believed the gun unloaded, but a short time late it was accidentally discharged. Funeral services will be in Peace cemetery in Joplin Missouri.
