died. Born 1903 and died Jan 27, 1927. The body of Mrs. Allene Hodges, age 24 years old, who died Thursday in a hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma, was brought to Afton Oklahoma on Saturday, for burial in the Mount Hope Cemetery there. Mrs. Hodges was a niece of Mr and Mrs. W. M Palmer and Mr and Mrs. R. C. Meador. She is survived by husband Ernest Hodges; her father. A. J. Meador; a sister, Mrs. C. S. Billinger of Tulsa and three nephews. Note that newspaper had her name as Mrs. Allen Hodges.
