The passing of Jordan Eli Fox leaves one more vacancy in list of men who found Miami. J. E. Fox, father of three well-known Miami Businessmen and himself well known throughout the Tri-State district died at his home, 116 West Central Avenue at 8:20 this morning. He moved to Michigan with his parents when age 2 and later went to western Kansas when he was age 20, returned to Missouri and then moved to Indian Territory Oklahoma. He lived in the territory/state for 42 years. Mr. Fox is survived by his wife and three sons, Charles Fox, assistant cashier of the First Nation Bank, Orville Fox, connected with the Buick motor car agency and Claude Fox, connected with the Coyne Lumber Company.
