Mrs. Lillie Williams died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Epperson, in Tulsa Oklahoma Wednesday morning at 2:30. Mrs. Williams was the wife of Howard Williams, who dropped dead ast his home four years ago. The couple was among the first settlers in Hattonville [now Commerce Oklahoma], and had been engaged continuously in the restaurant business until the death of Mr. Williams. The body of Mrs. Williams was brought to Miami and funeral services were held at the first Baptist church Thursday afternoon, with burial in the G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Lamb, Mrs. Anna Epperson of Tulsa; a son George Williams of Joplin, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Juanita Jones of Tulsa; and two grandsons, Howard Norsworthy and Claud Norsworthy, whom she reared; sisters, Mrs. George Walkey, Mrs. F. H. Atwood and brother Jim Spencer, all of Tulsa. OBIT by Shane.
