Clarence Vaughn and Johnnie Roberts, both 23, today confessed to a series of 15 Baxter Springs Kansas burglaries in the last 30 days. A large part of the loot was recovered in the house occupied by them at Zincville Oklahoma. Both are now under parole from the Kansas penitentiary where they were sentenced for burglary, and Roberts once served time in Louisiana for manslaughter... The pair detailed how they did not have a car ... and after each "job" they would board a Southwest Missouri railroad car and return to Zincville with their loot...
