Died. Died November 1930. Father Fremont Frank Mathews. Mother Carrie J. Hutson Mathews.
age 24, or 25, Mathews, an oil field worker, was killed Nov 5, or Nov 6, 1930, in a work related accident. This was the second violent death in Mathews family in two months and the third death during that time. Ed Mathews, brother of Ervin and a Quapaw grocer, was killed by a train near Quapaw Oklahoma, two months ago and the mother of the two men, Mrs. C. J. Mathews, died two weeks ago at the home of one of her daughters. All three are buried in the Seneca Cemetery Burial in the Seneca Cemetery, Seneca Missouri.
