Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 6 pm for Robert Tudy Yoakcum, 21 year old mine helper killed Saturday morning in a mine explosion. The rites will be held at the Durnil chapel, Picher Oklahoma. The Yoakcum family formerly resided at Cowgill Missouri, but had been living in Cardin Oklahoma. There will be two services for Yoakcum, one in Picher Tuesday night at 6 when his mine associates can attend and one Wednesday in Cowgill where the burial will take place. The Rev. James Davis will officiate at Picher services.

Surviving Yoakcum are his father and 10 half-sisters and brothers. The father is Willie Yoakcum of Kington Missouri. The half brothers are Willie Yoakcum, Jr., of Camp Hood Texas, and Pvt. Pearl Van Bebber in service overseas; Luther Van Bebber, Stone Van Bebber and Vernon Van Bebber of Kansas City Missouri, and the half sisters, Mrs. Albert Bowens of Deepwater Missouri, Mrs. Irene Haon, Kansas City, Mrs. Hazel Clark and Mrs. Dorothy Clark of Picher and Mrs. Chris Bullard of California.
