Funeral services were held in the First Baptist church, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, for Frank Woods of Commerce Oklahoma. The Rev. C. E. Bergen officiated and burial was in the G.A.R. cemetery in Miami under the direction of the Thomas funeral home.

Pallbearers were Albert Von Moss, Jr., Ralph Leslie, Harley Niday, Walter Atkinson, I. Bullard, and Glen Collins.

Frank William Woods died May 9 at 9:45 am at the Picher hospital, Picher Oklahoma, following a cerebral hemorrhage he suffered last Wednesday at the Jackie Mine.

The 51 year old man was born in Joplin Missouri July 4, 1900 and attended school there. He moved to Picher in 1919 and lived here until 1946 when he moved to Commerce. He had operated cafes at Picher and at Commerce and was a member of the Picher Baptist church.
