Picher Oklahoma, Aug 2 The body of Lloyd C. Ware, 51 years old, World War I veteran, was found at the Black Eagle Mine, northwest of Treece Kansas, early this morning. He is supposed to have fallen last night from a derrick he was tearing down and the body lay there all night. Junior Ware, a 14 year old son, went in search of his father this morning and found the body at the foot of the derrick, where it had fallen 25 feet. A Durnil ambulance was called and the body brought to the Durnil funeral home at Picher, where examination revealed severe head and chest injuries. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Junior Ware of the home, Albert Ware of Winfield Kansas, Cecil Ware of Monett Missouri and Hugh Ware of Pierce City Missouri; a daughter, Mary Ware of the home; five brothers, Charles Ware of Springfield Missouri, John Ware of Oakland California, Mack Ware and Harrison Ware both of Fort Smith Arkansas, and Ray Ware, whose address is unknown, and two sisters, Mrs. Marian Hutchens of Joplin Missouri, and Mrs. Ellen Long of Pittsburg Kansas. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
