Waford, George "Shorty"

Commerce Oklahoma, Sep 8. George "Shorty" Waford, employee of the Bilharz Mine No. 1, near Commerce, was killed Sunday morning when two boxes of dynamite accidentally exploded at the mine. Waford leaves a brother and a sister. Funeral services were held at 4 pm yesterday afternoon at the Commerce Baptist church. The Mitchelson undertaking company was in charge,

The funeral of George Waford, who was killed in Bilharz Mine No. 1, Sunday morning, was held Monday at 4 pm at the Baptist church. Burial was in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
