Mrs. Fred Martin, 701 South Emily street, Picher Oklahoma, received a telegram late Saturday night informing her of the death of a brother, Walter Tingle, 28 years old, of Placerville California, a former Joplin Missouri resident, whose death was the result of a mine accident. Tingle moved to California from Joplin last February. He was born in Joplin and is well known throughout this district, funeral arrangements are incomplete. Surviving relatives include a small son, his mother, Mrs. C. Tingle of Placerville; three brothers, Roy Tingle, Charles Tingle and Gus Tingle of Placerville; three sisters, Mrs. Martin of Picher, Mrs. Joe Morthew of Harrington Kansas, and Mrs. Blanche Mosbaugh of Placerville.
