Picher Oklahoma, Aug 28. Isaac Thurman, 29 years old, who lives at 420 South Treece street, Picher, a "tub hooker" at the Wade Mine, received severe injuries to his back today when struck by a boulder at the mine. He was taken to the Picher hospital in an ambulance from the Todd undertaking company, of Picher.

Picher Oklahoma, Aug 29 No funeral arrangements have been made for Isaac Thurman, 29 years old, tub hooker at the Wade Mine, who died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon from injuries received when he was struck by a mass of rock and dirt falling from a can being hoisted from the mine. The arrival of the deceased's parents from California is awaited. He also leaves two sisters residing at Bartlesville Oklahoma. Thurman was married and besides his wife also leaves three children. He resided at 420 South Treece street, Picher. He was a son-in-law of Lon Woods, South Treece street, Picher. The funeral will be under the direction of the Green undertaking company of Picher.

Picher Oklahoma, Aug 30--The funeral of Isaac Thurman, 33 years old, more familiarly known as "Ike" Thurman, who died at a local hospital Thursday afternoon from injuries received at the Wade Mine was held from the family home, 420 South Treece street, Picher, this afternoon at 2. The Rev. Mrs. Hallie Fannery, of Prosperity Missouri, conducted the services and burial was in the Carterville Missouri, cemetery under the direction of the Green undertaking company from Picher.
