Picher Oklahoma, Aug 26 George B. Thompson, 32 years old, of Quapaw Oklahoma, died last night at a Picher hospital as a result of injuries received yesterday when he was struck by a falling slab at the Blue Ribbon Mine, near Hockerville Oklahoma, where he was employed as a shoveler. Thompson's death was due to a head injuries. He also suffered a broken leg and bruises about the body. Surviving is the widow, Mrs. Zona Thompson; two small children, Jack Thompson and Euclet Thompson, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. June Thompson of Quapaw Oklahoma; a brother, Owen Thompson of Hockerville, and three sisters, Mrs. Opal Davis of Quapaw, Mrs. Eva Walker of Independence Kansas, and Miss Violet Thompson of Oregon. Burial at the Lowell Cemetery, Lowell Missouri.
