James O. Statton, pioneer hard rock lead and zinc miner of Picher Oklahoma, 52 years old, died at St. John's hospital in Joplin Missouri Monday morning from injuries he received in a mining accident several months ago. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Galena Kansas at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with burial at Oak Hill cemetery. Two daughters, two sons and three sisters survive.
