George Smith was caught in an avalanche of tailings near Granby Missouri Wednesday afternoon and killed, according to a report received here by C. L. Kelly, who owns the mill. He has gone there to attend the funeral. The dead man was 48 years old and is survived by a wife, and 17 year old daughter. Another worker narrowly escaped the accident.
