Picher Oklahoma, Jul 17. W. M. Shoup, 29 years old, of Galena Kansas, died at a local hospital at 2 this morning as the result of injuries received Wednesday at the Silver Fox Mine, a hard rock lead and zinc mine. He was struck on the head by a boulder. Besides his wife, Mrs. Ruth Shoup, he is survived by his mother and three children. The children are Imogene Shoup, 2 years old; Nadine Shoup, 4, and Billie Shoup, 6. Funeral services will be held at the Spring Grove Mission church at Galena Kansas at 2 Sunday afternoon. Burial will be in the Hillcrest cemetery under the direction of the Todd undertaking company of Picher.
