Miami Record Herald · Jan 12 1922 · Pg 2 · Col 3 - Jan 13, 1922

Lillie J. Sallee Wednesday filed suit against the Golden Rod Mining and Smelting Company of Cardin Oklahoma for $300. Mrs. Sallee lives at Stillwell Oklahoma. According to the petition, Raymond Sallee, husband of the plaintiff, was working for the mining company when he was drawn into the screen in the concentrating plant and his skull fractured and he was otherwise injured. The accident occurred in October, 1921. The two were married in July, 1918. The petition states that the defendant has already paid the plaintiff compensation for medical expenses and asks that the additional sum of $300 be paid by the defense.
