Picher Oklahoma, Dec 29 M. R. Ryburn, 32 years old, of Zincville Oklahoma, died at Picher at 5 pm this afternoon as the result of injuries sustained today at the Federal Brewster Mine, one mile east of Picher, when struck by a boulder and knocked from a ladder, falling to a pile of rocks. A leg was broken in the fall, and Ryburn suffered internal injuries, which attending physicians declared was the cause of death. He is survived by a widow who had been called to Depew Oklahoma, in the western part of the state, because of the serious illness of her father. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Picher Oklahoma, Dec 31 Funeral services for M. R. Ryburn, 32 years old, of Zincville Oklahoma, who died in Picher Oklahoma, Thursday, Dec 29, 1927, as a result of injuries received at the Federal Brewster Mine, where he was employed as a shoveler, were held at the Union church in Zincville at 2:30 this afternoon. The Rev. Mullins of Quapaw Oklahoma officiated. Burial Dec 31, 1928, was in the G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami Oklahoma, under the direction of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher. Ryburn was shoveling mine "dirt" when he was struck by a boulder.
