Picher Oklahoma, May 5. Charles Royster, 22 years old, of Joplin Missouri, was seriously injured at the Lucky Syndicate Mine yesterday afternoon by a premature explosion. He was taken to the American hospital at Picher in an ambulance of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher. Royster was employed as a machine man and at the time of the accident was engaged in loading a hole. In some manner the explosive was discharged, with the result that he was badly cut and bruised about the face, chest and one arm.

Picher Oklahoma, May 7 Funeral services for Charles Royster, 24 years old, who died yesterday from injuries received in a mine accident, will be held at the chapel of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher, at 1 o'clock tomorrow after-noon. The Rev. D. W. Brashear will officiate and burial will be at Carterville Missouri.

Picher Oklahoma, May 6 Charles Royster, 24 years old, of Joplin Missouri, died at a local hospital at 5 o'clock this morning as the result of injuries sustained Tuesday at the Lucky Syndicate Mine. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Nell Tucker of Joplin, and a number of other relatives. The funeral will be held at the chapel of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The Rev. D. W. Brashear, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate and burial will be at Carterville Missouri.
