Henry Lewis Reyburn, 57, a mine operator of the mine about eight miles north of Quapaw Oklahoma, was killed when he fell down the mine shaft late yesterday. Reyburn, while walking around the shaft preparing cribbing, lost his balance and plunged 180 feet to the mine floor, it was reported. Alfred ____and James Burns, partners of Reyburn, later found the body mangled.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Jane Reyburn of Joplin Missouri; two sons, Earl Reyburn of Burbank California, and Paul Reyburn of Kansas City Missouri; a brother, Delar Reyburn of Baxter Springs Kansas, and a sister, Mrs. ---Williams of Granby Missouri. The Hoskins funeral home of Baxter Springs will announce funeral arrangements.

Baxter Springs Kansas Funeral services for Louis Henry Reyburn, 57 years old, who was killed Tuesday night when he fell into a mine shaft on the discard lease, south of Baxter Springs, will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist church. The Rev. Wallace I. McDonald, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. H. Ellis Ogden, Baptist pastor. Burial will be in the Granby Missouri cemetery under the direction of the Hoskins funeral home. Note: Please note that the Miami paper has Henry Lewis Reyburn and the Joplin paper has Lewis Henry Reyburn and the cemetery in Granby has Lewis Reyburn.
