Picher Oklahoma, Feb. 7.--Short funeral services for Lee Martin Norton, 41 years old, a track man at the Anna Beaver Mine, who was killed late Friday by the discharge of an unexploded shot, will be held at the chapel of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher at 9 o'clock Sunday. Final services will be held in the M. E. Church in Granby, Missouri, at 2 o'clock.

The funeral of Lee Norton, who met death at the Anna Beaver Mine Friday, was held from the Methodist church at Granby Missouri, at 2 PM yesterday. Burial was in the Granby cemetery under the direction of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher Oklahoma.

R. L. Channing, operator of the Anna Beaver Mine, and Lee Filius, superintendent of the mine, were named defendants in a suit for $50,000 damages filed Monday in district court by Mrs. Bessie Norton, widow of Lee Norton, mine employee, who was killed Feb. 6 in an explosion at the mine. The petition charges the defendant with "neglect and carelessness."
