Picher Oklahoma, July 11--Harry Niday, 46 years old, of Webb City Missouri, was instantly killed about 3 pm yesterday at the No. 1 Mine of the Eagle-Picher Mining Company as the result of a premature explosion. Niday was employed as a powderman and was engaged in loading a stope hole at the time of the accident. Mr. Niday is survived by his wife, and five children, two stepchildren, and his mother, Mrs. Sarah Niday, of Webb City. He and his family resided at 214 South Tom street, Webb City. The funeral will be held at the family home Wednesday. Burial will be at Purcell Missouri, under the direction of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher Oklahoma.

The funeral of Harry Niday, 46 years old, of Webb City Missouri, who was killed Sunday at a mine of the Eagle- Picher Mining Company as the result of a premature explosion, was held at the Latter Day Saints church in Oronoga Missouri, at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The Rev. Weaver of Purcell officiated. The IOOF lodge of Purcell of which Mr. Niday was a member, had charge of the services at the grave. Burial was in the Purcell cemetery under the direction of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher Oklahoma.
