Raymond G. Neal, 35 year old miner of Mexico Missouri, was killed in the M. and W. Mine near Quapaw Oklahoma Monday morning while working underground. A falling slab crushed his head and the upper part of his body. Mr. Neal, who was working alone, is believed to have been killed at 10 o'clock as his watch stopped at that time. His body was found by workmen at about 10:30. The body was brought to the Durnil funeral home, in Picher Oklahoma, where funeral arrangements were made upon the arrival of his brother, Dick Neal, of Mexico Missouri. He is also survived by his parents, of Mexico. Mr. Neal made his home in Miami.

Mrs. Minnie B. Jones was awarded $2,500 judgment against the W. M. & W. Mining Company by agreement in circuit court Monday in Missouri, in settlement for that amount for the death of her son in a mine accident. The suit was filed and settled the same day. The son, Harry R. Neal, was killed when a slab fell in a hard rock lead and zinc mine near Cardin Oklahoma, last May 6.
