Picher Oklahoma, Feb 5, Dewey Moore, age 20, a miner, died suddenly at 5:20 o'clock this morning of heart failure at the Silver Fox Mine, northwest of Treece Kansas. Moore had just completed his work on the night shift and upon reaching the surface he expressed a desire to sit in the engine room. After sitting in the engineer's chair for a few minutes he was found to be near death and Doctor Lazenby of Treece Kansas was called, but the young man died before assistance could reach him. The body was removed to the morgue of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher. Moore was boarding with his sister, Mrs. King, at Treece Kansas while working in the mines. Robert Moore, a brother, arrived within a few hours from Smithfield Missouri, where their mother, Mrs. Jasper Moore, resides. Burial will be at Carl Junction, Missouri, Friday.
