Webb City, Missouri, Jan. 4.--Neal Means, 30 years old, a tub hooker at the High Five Mine at Waco Missouri, died in an ambulance of the Hurlbut undertaking company of Joplin Missouri this morning while on the way to Jane Chinn hospital at Webb City. His death resulted from a crushed skull, said to have been caused by a falling tub. An inquest will be conducted at 8 Tuesday night at the funeral home of the Webb City undertaking company, Dr. R. M. Storment, county coroner, announced. Means is said to have been standing in the shaft to receive a descending tub, which struck him. He is survived by a wife and three children at Asbury. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
