Picher Oklahoma, July 18.--No funeral arrangements have been made for William C. MacCready, 49 years old, 2651 East Eighth street, Joplin Missouri, who died at a local hospital about 10 this morning as the result of injuries received at the Velie Lion Mine shortly after 7:30 am when he fell between crusher rolls of the jig mill. The completion of funeral arrangements awaits the arrival of relatives. The body is at the morgue of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher.
MacCready was an employee in the sludge department. No one witnessed the accident and it was not known how he happened to fall between the crusher rolls. He suffered internal injuries.
MacCready was married. Besides his wife, Mrs. Elena MacCready, surviving are two sons, Herbert R. MacCready of Tulsa and William MacCready, Jr., at home and several brothers and sisters.
Picher Oklahoma, July 18 William C. MacCready, 49 years old of Joplin Missouri, was injured fatally shortly before 8 o'clock this morning when he fell between the crusher rollers of the jig mill at the Velie Lion Mine, where he was employed. He died two hours later at the American hospital at Picher. MacCready was injured internally. He leaves his wife Mrs. Elena MacCready, and two sons, Herbert R. MacCready of Tulsa Oklahoma, and William C. MacCready, Jr. of the home address, 2651 East Eighth Street, Joplin. Several brothers also survive. Funeral services have not been completed.
Funeral services for William C. MacCready, 49 years old, who died at a local hospital yesterday following injuries received several hours earlier at the Velie Lion Mine when he fell between rolls of a crusher equipment of the jig mill, will be held at the family home, 2651 East Eighth street Joplin Missouri, at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The Rev. R. C. Miller, pastor of the First Baptist church in Joplin Missouri will officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Park cemetery by the Todd undertaking company, of Picher Oklahoma.
