Fred Lemaster, 36, who was employed at the Blue Mound Mine near Picher Oklahoma, fell forty feet from a scaffold at the hard rock lead and zinc mine Wednesday night and was killed instantly. Lemaster's neck was broken. A fellow worker, whose name was not learned, also fell from the scaffold, but escaped serious injury. Lemaster leaves his parents, who live at Martonville Missouri, his wife and three young children. The parents were to arrive Thursday at Picher. The body will be buried at Carterville Missouri. Mrs. Fred Lemaster had been married previously. Her first husband, a bank cashier, was slain by robbers several years ago.
