Picher Oklahoma, Nov. 15--One man was killed and another was injured severely in two mine accidents today at properties of the Eagle- Picher Lead Company. Jasper Jameson, 38 years old, met instant death when he fell from supports on which he was working above the hard rock lead and zinc shaft of the company's No. 59 Mine, two miles northwest of here, and plunged 250 feet to the bottom of the shaft. His body was mangled badly in the fall.

J. M. Davidson, a shoveler at the Eagle Picher Company's Whitelease Mine, in the northwest part of Picher, received severe bruises about the head and body when struck by a falling slab. He was taken to the Picher hospital in an ambulance of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher. His condition is not considered serious. Both accidents occurred shortly before 10 o'clock.

Jameson was employed in replacing the steam hoisting equipment at the mine No. 59 with electrical machinery. He was working 15 feet above the mouth of the shaft and was believed to have been knocked from his footing by a falling timber. He lived near the mine. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Iva Jameson, and two step-children, Julius C. Clevenhagen of the home address, and Mrs. Eula Kelley of Treece Kansas. The body is at the Todd undertaking company, of Picher. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

No funeral arrangements have been made for Jasper Jameson, 38 years old, who met death yesterday at the Picher No. 59 Mine of the Eagle Picher Mining Company. Pending the completion of funeral arrangements, the body is at the morgue of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher Oklahoma.

The funeral of Jasper Jameson, 38 years old, who was killed at the Picher Mine No. 59, was held at the family home about two miles northwest of Picher Oklahoma at 10 this morning. The Rev. Wesley Post, pastor of the Union church, officiated. Burial was at Aurora Missouri, under the direction of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher.

Picher Oklahoma, Nov 15 No funeral arrangements have been made for Jasper Jameson, 38 years old, who met instant death about 10 o'clock this morning at the Picher Mine No. 59 of the Eagle Picher Mining Company. Jameson was assisting other workmen in making some changes in the hoisting equipment, when he fell from the support upon which he was standing, dropping to the bottom of the shaft. His limbs were broken and his body badly mutilated. Jameson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Iva Jameson, and two step-children, Mrs. Eula Kelley and Julius C. Clevehagan, residing northwest of Picher. Jameson resided about two miles northwest of Picher near where the accident occurred.
