Picher Oklahoma, Jan. 18.--Clyde H. Huddleston, 17 years old, was instantly killed at 11:30 Wednesday night when struck by a boulder which fell from the top of the mill shaft of the Lucky Jew Mine at Westville Kansas, about three miles northwest of Picher. Huddleston was a bumper and was at that portion in the shaft when a boulder weighing about 80 pounds fell from the landing in the derrick a distance of about 350 feet, struck him on the head and crushed his skull. Huddleston is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Huddleston and one brother, Clarence Huddleston, all of whom reside in Treece Kansas.

The Green-Stephens under-taking company took charge of the body. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Burial will probably be at Carl Junction Missouri, accord-ing to Clarence Huddleston.
