The Federal Mining and Smelting Company was named defendant in a $10,000 damage suit, the petition of which was filed in court Saturday morning by attorneys for W. T. Harrison. The suit was brought over a fatal injury received by Irvine Harrison while at work in a mine. The petition states that Harrison, with others, was injured when the can in which they were riding tipped throwing Harrison out. He died five weeks later.
