Picher Oklahoma, April 12--Raymond Gray, 42 years old, of Joplin Missouri, was instantly killed at the hard rock lead and zinc mine, the Velie Leopard Mine, northeast of Picher, shortly before 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, when struck by a falling slab. He was employed as steel dresser. He made his home with his mother, Mrs. Rosanna Gray, Eighth and Empire streets, Joplin. He is also survived by one brother W. F. Gray of Joplin. The body was taken to his home in Joplin last night. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

David Williams of Cardin Oklahoma, a second victim of the accident, escaped with several cuts and bruises about the body. After being treated at the American hospital at Picher, Williams was able to return to his home in Cardin. He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher.
