Picher Oklahoma, Jan. 12.--Squire Glasscock of Commerce Oklahoma, 72 years old, died at 11 Tuesday morning at the Picher hospital from burns sustained in a gas explosion at the Ohimo Mine in north Picher Saturday night. Glasscock was employed as watchman and finding one of the engine rooms on fire, received several burns while extinguishing the flames. He is survived by his wife, one son, Roy Glasscock and four daughters, Mrs. J. L. Allington, Joplin Missouri; Mrs. J. H. Bray, Joplin; Mrs. J. H. Irwin, Commerce, and Mrs. R. C. Mills of Tulsa Oklahoma. Funeral services were conducted at 2 this afternoon from the residence of Mrs. Allington, 1920 Empire avenue, Joplin. Burial was in Mount Hope cemetery at Joplin.
