Mrs. Lille May Elder, administratrix of the estate of William J. Elder, filed a suit in district court Friday against the Skelton Mining Company, asking for a judgment of $25,600 for the loss of her husband's life in one of the company's mines. Mrs. Elder brought suit for herself and two miner children. She asserted that Mr. Elder was 47 years old, while at work in a drift of the mine was hit by falling rock, Dec. 2, 1922, and that his injuries resulted in his death Oct. 3, 1923.
