Picher Oklahoma, Sept. 21 Claud Dry, Sr., 51 year old hard rock lead and zinc tub hooker, died of a heart attach while working underground at the Lucky Five Mine, two miles south of Picher, at 9:30 last night. Born in Joplin Missouri, Dry had been a resident of Commerce Oklahoma for the last 27 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Dry of the home at 105 South Cedar street in Commerce; two sons, Claud Dry, Jr., of California, and Clayton Dry of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Mills of Commerce; two sisters, Mrs. Louella Shelby of Fort Worth Texas, and Mrs. Virginia Edwards of Del Rio Texas, and two grandchildren. Arrangements for services and burial will be announced by the Thomas Funeral home of Picher. Note: Burial date Sep 24, 1954. G.A.R. Cemetery Records- Miami Oklahoma.
