Picher Oklahoma, Dec 21 Parker Davis, 25 years old, of Zincville Oklahoma, who sustained serious injuries about one month ago when a team he was driving became unmanageable and ran away, died at St. John's hospital at Joplin Missouri about 12 o'clock last night. Besides his wife and mother residing at Zincville, he is survived by seven brothers and sisters, all but one of whom reside in the Picher district. The deceased was a hard rock lead and zinc miner and had been employed at the St. Louis Mine.
The funeral will be held from the church at Zincville tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock under the direction of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher. Burial will be made in the G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami Oklahoma.
Picher Oklahoma, Dec 22 The funeral of Parker Davis, 25 years old, of Zincville Oklahoma, who died at a Joplin Missouri hospital Friday from injuries received about a month ago when a team he was driving ran away, was held from the church at Zincville this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial was made in the Miami cemetery. The funeral was held under the direction of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher. The deceased was married and besides his wife and his mother, residing at Zincville, he is survived by seven brothers and sisters, all by one of whom reside in the Picher district. He was a miner and had been employed at the St. Louis Mine.
