The hard rock lead and zinc company, Tri-State Mining Company was the defendant in a suit filed in district court today by counsel for Mayme Crowley, widow and administratrix for Hiram Crowley, in which $3,065 was asked as compensation for Crowley's death May 4. The deceased man was a miner employed at the Buffalo Mine of the Tri-State Company, according to the petition, and died May 4 after an accident April 2, 1930. Crowley's injuries were received when a can of ore rolled on him.
