Picher Oklahoma, April 17.---Fred Crouse, 36 years old, a hard rock lead and zinc shoveler at the Tar Creek Mine, formerly known as the Brownhead Mine, was instantly killed about 3 this afternoon when struck by a falling slab. He was married and resided near the Kansas-Oklahoma state line. The body is at the Todd undertaking parlor at Picher. No funeral arrangements have been made.

Picher Oklahoma, April 18.---Fred Crouse, 36 years old, a shoveler at the Tar Creek Mine, formerly known as the Brownhead Mine, was instantly killed about 2:30 Friday afternoon when struck by a falling slab. He was married and resided near the Kansas-Oklahoma state line. Funeral services will be held at the chapel of the Todd undertaking company, of Picher at 2 Sunday afternoon. The Rev. James Posey will officiate and burial will be in the G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami.
